With a heavy-duty, large cross-section roller-style telescopic boom, BTI’s VPS Series Scaler provides excellent dexterity, strength and smooth telescopic action for proper positioning. The VPS Series Scaler is a classic design for 4-to-8 meter tall headings and trams in narrow tunnels with a +/- 45 degree center articulation. Equipped with a massive wrist rotation and tilt circuit, the VPS Series Scaler is suitable for use with BTI’s patented vibratory pick for soft rock applications or BTI’s scaling breakers for harder rock applications.

Its separate torque converter/transmission package provides a low-profile engine height and mid-ship ROPS/FOPS cabin for improved operator visibility and low tramming heights. The four self-leveling stabilizers make set up times easy while maintaining stability for operation.
